Management team
Mr. Shrirang Tambe, CLFP
Founder & CEO

Shrirang Tambe is responsible for strategy, business development, fund raising and overall management of the company. He has 20 years of experience in the BFSI segment and has earlier worked with Ourea Capital Advisors, ANZ Investment Bank, Clearwater Capital Partners and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is India’s first Certified Lease Finance Professional (CLFP). He is also a Chartered Accountant.

Mr. Ram Subramanian
Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Ram overseas operations and risk management at Origa. He has an experience of over 35 years in the banking sector across functions such as regulatory compliance, credit administration, recovery & legal. He was also responsible for Balance sheet management and has built corporate banking verticals for various banks including Bank of India, ADCB and Mashreq Bank.

Mr. Nelson D'souza
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Nelson spearheads fund raising – both Equity and Debt; besides being responsible for the overall accounting, corporate and business finance, tax, investor relations, internal audit and treasury functions. Additionally, he works closely with other senior leaders of Origa to build a profitable and scalable business. Nelson is a BCom and Chartered Accountant with over 17 years of experience. Prior to Origa, Nelson has spent 7 years working in start-ups such as LEAP India and OneAssist Consumer Solutions. He has also spent close to 8 years in the Financial services industry working with marquee brands such as Tata Capital and Avendus Capital.

Mr. Rupesh Mainkar
HEAD – Equipment Assessment and Solutions (EAS)

Rupesh is responsible for undertaking asset credit analysis, asset maintenance and management for all equipment that Origa invests in. He also spearheads non performing asset (NPA) resolution. He was earlier with SREI Equipment Finance and Rentworks across sales and recovery functions. Rupesh comes with four years of experience at SREI Equipment Finance in NPA resolution.

Mr. Prashant Shedge
Director – Healthcare

Prashant spearheads the healthcare business at Origa. He has acquired qualification in International Business Management from IIM, Lucknow and a bachelor’s degree is Science, from Mumbai University. He is a seasoned business professional with over 23 years of multi-industry work experience in marketing, business development, business strategy and sales operations. In healthcare segment, Prashant has previously worked with Healthspring and Wockhardt Hospitals at leadership positions. He worked with Tata Teleservices and Idea cellular while being in Telecom sector and Pidilite industries and PepsiCo in the FMCG sector.

Ms. Jyotsna Krishnan

Board Member

Ms. Jyotsna Krishnan became the first non-founder Managing Director and Partner of Elevar in 2016 and leads the India investment team. She is a member of the Fund’s Investment Committee and is based out of Bangalore, India. Before Elevar, she worked at HSBC for many years in multiple capacities, with the bank’s distribution channel covering 26 cities across India and 6 other countries with a focus on non-resident Indian customers. She sits on the boards of Thirumeni Finance (Varthana), Samunnati Financial Intermediation & Services, CreditMantri Finserve, and Varadnarayan Savings and Investment (WheelsEMI). Jyotsna has an MBA from SP Jain Institute for Management Research, Mumbai and a B. Com with honors from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst® charter holder.

Mr. R Ramaraj

Board Member

Mr. R Ramaraj joined Elevar in 2014 as Senior Advisor and works with Elevar entrepreneurs and the Elevar partnership as a mentor and guide. He is a serial entrepreneur who has been involved in ventures in IT, cellular and Internet. His last venture was Sify, where he was the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer. Sify was the first Indian Internet Company to list on NASDAQ national market in the US (NASDAQ –SIFY). He was recognized as the ‘Evangelist of the Year’ at the India Internet World Convention in September 2000 and was also voted the IT Person of the year (2000 and 2001), in a CNET.com poll in India. Until recently, he was the Senior Advisor at Sequoia Capital. He is a Member of the Board of Governors of IIM, Calcutta. Ramaraj holds a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from the University of Madras and an M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.

Mr. Harish Prabhu

Board Member

Mr. Harish Prabhu is an experienced Banker (over 27 years) with senior level operating experience - having successfully led the exponential growth of domestic and global payments, remittances, correspondent & transaction banking business operations of top-tier US, Gulf & European banks in South Asia. Has also built and led market leading teams and businesses in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity intermediation, commercial & institutional banking credit risk & lending, banking operations, customer service and regulatory compliance in south Asia. Until recently, he served as the CEO of Sarvatra Technologies, India’s largest company in providing “Alternative Banking” technology solutions to most of the urban and rural co-operative banks across India. Earlier, he was the CEO and country manager of Mashreq Bank, India and also the President & CEO of TAIB Bank, Bahrain’s Indian operations. He was also with JPMorgan Chase Bank for 11 years in various senior roles. Harish is Bachelors of Science and Post Graduate MBA (Finance) from Mumbai University.
